Clay Myatt, Pastor
Clay was born and raised here in Cuyahoga County (Broadview Heights), and he has degrees from Vanderbilt University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv). He served as an assistant pastor/resident at churches in Gainesville (FL), Boston, and Cleveland Heights before leading a team of people to start King’s Cross Church. He enjoys reading, writing, and playing just about any sport, and he is the author of Echoes of the Gospel in Harry Potter.
Adam Lantvit, Pastor
Adam grew up in Wisconsin, but he has called Cleveland home since 2013. He is married to his wife Rachael and they have four kids: Sophie, Elijah, Maia and Emmett. They live on the east side of Cleveland in the Larchmere neighborhood. Adam is a structural engineer by education and currently works at a Cleveland-based construction company in their Pre-construction department. Prior to helping found King’s Cross Church, Adam was an elder at City Church in Cleveland Heights for five years. Adam enjoys spending time with his family mostly outdoors, whether on the water at their cottage or taking a walk or bike ride around the neighborhood. He enjoys watching or playing pretty much any sport, and he and his wife Rachael absolutely love the Cleveland food scene.
Patrick Muscenti, Pastor
Patrick has called Northeast Ohio home for most of his life. He lives with his family in a renovated, historic building near Public Square and, during the week, he works in insurance and risk management. Prior to helping found King’s Cross Church, Patrick was an elder at City Church in Cleveland Heights for three years. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, watching reels of golf instruction videos, and reading.
Josie Valley, Deacon of Women’s Ministry
For over 16 years, Josie has been the happy wife of Jason, the worship leader here at KXC. She is also the most grateful Momma to their three sweet kiddos: Noah (13), Clara (11), Hannah (8), and a fur baby, a mini bernedoodle, Tessa Mae (5)! Josie has a Bachelor's degree in hospitality management and a Master's degree in Biblical counseling, which she believes God has used to prepare her to serve women in her role at King’s Cross. Josie is also the founder of Minutes Matter, an outreach women's ministry that God put on her heart back in 2011. She believes that women who love Jesus, honor family, serve others and live a life of authenticity, intentionality, and purpose make their minutes matter most. She desires to live this every day and creates ministry opportunities for women to do the same. When she is not cooking something in the kitchen, you can find her enjoying everything God has to offer us in nature!
Rick Eimers, Deacon At-large
Rick Eimers has been married to his wife Brooke for 18 years and is the proud #1 fan of his three kids—a baseball player, a gymnast, and a basketball player and runner. He’s honored to serve as a deacon at King’s Cross Church, loving the people God brings through its doors. And when he’s not on the sidelines or in conversation, he’s likely out treasure hunting as a dedicated yard sale aficionado.
Bill Morgan, Deacon of Mercy
Bill is a native of Northeast Ohio, having grown up in Chagrin Falls. He continued his education at Grove City College, and after spending 4 years in youth ministry, Bill entered the business world. He has spent his entire business career in the insurance industry, owning his own benefits consulting firm for the past 25 years. Bill married his high school sweetheart, Janice, and together they raised 5 children. They are now proud grandparents of 5 grandchildren. Bill and Janice reside in Brecksville. In his spare time, Bill cheers on all the local sports teams, and he enjoys golfing, reading, and yard work. Bill serves as a Deacon at King’s Cross Church and loves worshipping and serving God in Downtown Cleveland.
Rachael Lantvit, Deacon of KX Kids
Rachael Lantvit is the wife of Adam—one of the King's Cross Church elders—and the mother of 4 beautiful children. She graduated from Trinity International University with a B.A. in Elementary Education, and she taught 1st and 2nd grade before she becoming a homemaker. Rachael is originally from Pittsburgh and moved to the Cleveland area 12 years ago with her husband and children. As the Deacon of KX Kids, Rachael gets to serve families through planning and managing the Sunday morning kids' space. She loves seeing how the consistency and structure of the KX kids' space has planted seeds in the little hearts at King's Cross Church. Rachael sees God working in these little hearts from reading about "God's Very Colorful Creation" to singing, "My God is so great, so strong, and so mighty..." Outside of working with kids, Rachael enjoys gardening, taking care of her chickens, paddle boarding, walking with her family and, honestly, anything outdoors!
Tyler Moomaw, Deacon of Hospitality
Tyler has lived in Northeast Ohio his whole life and has called Cleveland home since 2021. He lives in Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood with his wife Katie and their daughter Elsie. He teaches 6th grade math downtown and is passionate about helping students grow and build confidence in math. He enjoys playing pickleball, taking walks with his family around the neighborhood, and he’s a big fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers. He has been involved with King’s Cross Church since the beginning, where he serves as a Deacon of Hospitality and enjoys helping create a welcoming experience that makes Sundays feel inviting for everyone.
Josh Flenniken, Deacon of Set-Up
Josh has lived in Northeast Ohio his whole life and currently resides in the South suburbs. For work, Josh spends his days downtown working in equity research at Cleveland Research Company. Local connections and a heart for downtown brought Josh to King's Cross Church as a member of the founding team. Today, he serves as the Deacon of Set-Up which involves coordinating many of the behind-the-scenes aspects that help Sunday mornings run smoothly. He has felt consistently blessed by others' willingness to serve on Sundays and is thankful for the impact KXC's tight-knit church community has had on his life. In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife Brynn as they search for Cleveland’s best cup of coffee, cheer on the local sports teams, and hang out with their growing crew of nieces and nephews.
Jason Valley, Deacon of Music
Jason was born and raised in Cleveland and has lived most of his life here. He is blessed to be the husband of Josie (Deacon of Women's Ministry) and father of their three wonderful children. Jason currently teaches in the Upper School at Heritage Classical Academy in Pepper Pike. He holds degrees from Ohio State University, Cleveland State University, and Nova Southeastern University (PhD in occupational therapy). Some of his greatest joys include spending time with his family, writing, reading, indulging in Italian cuisine (please don't talk to his wife about this), and coaching his son in basketball and baseball. Despite experiencing much suffering over the years as a Cleveland sports fan, he nevertheless remains a big fan. Jason is honored to be the Deacon of Music, and he and his family are immensely grateful to the Lord for bringing them to KXC!
